Egg Tree Centerpiece

Hang decorative painted eggs covered in bead patterns to a twig, wire or metal tabletop tree for a pretty spring centerpiece. Follow these step-by-step instructions.

Materials:

tabletop tree
unfinished wooden eggs
acrylic craft paint
artist paintbrushes
awl
mini screw eyes
beads
white glue
plastic bowls or plates
ribbons

Steps:

1. Paint each egg as desired and let dry. Use an awl to make a small starter hole in the top of each, and then secure a screw eye into the top.
2. Brush glue where desired on an egg, and then dip it into a bowl full of beads. Arrange the beads with your fingers if necessary. Repeat until the desired pattern is complete.
3. When the glue is dry, tie a ribbon to the screw eye and hang each finished egg on the miniature tree.
