This couple is expecting a baby girl and need to transform their office into a nursery prior to her arrival.
Designer Karen McAloon works with homeowners Niki and Greg Laddish to turn their cluttered office/spare room into a nursery for their unborn daughter. They want a room that can double as an office space and is feminine but not too frilly.
This room is currently used as an inefficient office plus a dumping ground for lots of unrelated items. The homeowners aren't into pink and frilly, and they don't want to spend a lot of money to make their currently cluttered office into a warm and cozy bedroom for their new daughter.
Now this nursery is whimsical, organized and ready to welcome the new addition to this family. Orange walls, lime green and white trim combine to make a cute and hip nursery.
Ice cream colors with white trim are perfect for the nursery/office combination. Repurposed shelving frees up floor space, but still offers plenty of storage for the working side of this space.
