Organizing the Office

A creative couple needs help de-junking their workspace.

William and Nicole Phoenix are two creative people with a huge office area in their home. The problem is, the space is so cluttered with junk that there's little room to even walk, let alone get any work done.

Professional organizer Sandra Briggs is brought in to help to transform the room from a space the Phoenixes avoid to a space they adore.

As with all organizing projects, the first step is to sort through the mess to see what needs to be kept and what can be tossed. Briggs starts with their books and then moves on to their papers and other items.

Her plan for getting this room in order includes removing the large hutch and having a customized shelving system built inside the closet. See how her handiwork turned out below.
