Paul Gendreau needs help turning a cramped kitchen into a homey hangout. That's the fix facing three design experts, one of which will get to work on Gendreau's kitchen project.
Before: Cramped Kitchen
Paul Gendreau has been in his 1939 home for 10 years. Going from room to room, he's been transforming it into a more traditional/eclectic style, but he needs help turning the cramped kitchen into a homey hangout as he's a homeowner who loves his dogs as much as he loves to cook. That's the fix facing three design experts, one of which will get to work on Gendreau's kitchen project.
After: Vibrant and Modern
With a budget of $70,000, designer Bette Hornstein is selected to turn a little old kitchen into a vibrant, modern space. The warm, wide-open design lets Gendreau interact with guests in the family room while he cooks in the kitchen. Hornstein created a welcoming kitchen where Gendreau can make a meal and dish with friends.
