Growing children and a desire for more emphasis on the lake view lead to this remodel.
The homeowners purchased this lakeside home near Minneapolis 14 years ago. But with three growing children they needed more space. They also wanted to reconfigure the floor plan to emphasize the lake view.
The new design added an all-new second floor for the family bedrooms. The main floor and basement were reconfigured to be more functional and open. The exterior now features a charming shingle-style with a new deck and windows facing the lake. The main floor is open and spacious with a large great room and kitchen.
