Rancho Santa Fe's Curvaceous Wing House

This curvaceous structure is a celebration of the California landscape near Rancho Santa Fe.

The twisting brainchild of architect Wallace Cunningham, the home is two semi-circles meeting in a vortex which mimics swirling waters.

It’s a theme that takes shape over and over and is especially obvious in the half-moon shaped pool.

Hallways spiral off of the living room and curve through the Rancho Santa Fe terrain, creating wings that unfold as you move through them. The extensive glass construction, including walls of glass and piercing skylights, creates the illusion that the roof is floating.

The home even features custom-designed bathroom vanities that mimic the circular construction of the house. It is an amazing home that never fails to stir the imagination of those who visit.
