A family room gets new furniture and a new decor.
Hosts Matt Fox and Shari Hiller completely redecorate a large family room with a nature theme. They include a falling leaves painting technique, build a gorgeous sofa table that anyone can use plus bring in all new furniture that makes this room blend with its natural surroundings.
The existing furniture has been around for a while so the homeowners are ready to replace it plus its current placement doesn't invite people into this wonderful family room. A new leather sofa placed at an angle is more welcoming and the neutral background enhances the natural theme of this space.
A loveseat and two tables were dwarfed by this expansive wall. The angled sofa and carefully arranged accessories fill the space with interesting items that carry out the natural theme.
A stone fireplace sets the stage in this family room and needs just a few choice accessories to warm it up even more. A collection of candleholders and a wreath highlight the mantel but don't distract from the fireplace's natural appearance.
