Use an Awning to Add Personality to a Covered Porch

Nancy Golden redecorates a covered porch with a striped awning theme.

The honey-colored ceiling, walls, floor and furniture on this porch were nice but lacked pizzazz. Interior designer Nancy Golden decides to use a striped awning theme to add personality to the space. She infuses color by creating a mock area rug with stains and a large storage piece, which carries the colors up the wall. An interior awning, country fabrics and antique furniture make this room comfortable for each member of the young active family to use.
