Orange + White Bathroom Makeover

Designer Rachael Franceschina transforms a small, outdated cottage bathroom into a larger, more up-to-date master bath.

  • Part Custom, Part Ikea

The sink vanities are from IKEA, while the undermount sinks, countertops, and faucets were not. The plumbing for this pushed the vanity out from the wall a few inches, forcing the contractor to get creative and make a reveal detail to hide the space.

  • Before the Remodel

This remodel transformed a small and dated half bath into a full master bathroom and closet. Designer Rachael Franceschina pulled additional floor space from the adjacent bedroom.

  • Budget Bath

The small budget did not accommodate the expensive freestanding tub and was replaced by a more affordable option found online.

  • Illusion of More Space

White is used throughout the bathroom to help make the area feel larger and allow natural light to reflect in the space.

  • Switch of a Fixture

Positioning the tub's faucet on the opposite side allowed the bathtub to be placed closer to the window, creating more floor space.

  • Personal Character

The blue-gray floor tile grounds the space in a rich color while the painting above the bath adds character.

  • Pop of Orange

Orange is used as an accent color throughout the house and these orange Caesarstone countertops add a bold punch in the bathroom.
