Bold Blue Master Bathroom

Designer Cheryl Kees Clendenon transforms a master bathroom into a colorful retreat to meet the needs of aging homeowners.

  • Have a Seat

An easy-access vanity with upholstered chair gives homeowners a sit-down area to put on makeup and get ready in the morning.

  • Drab Design

The original design left little to be desired between the dull wall color, outdated shower stall and low lighting.

  • Sinks for Two

The roomy double sinks with large, easy-to-use handles sit comfortably on the custom dark walnut vanity with a beautiful Vetrostone countertop.

  • Great Use Of Space

The designer utilized the space on the top of the half wall separating the tub from the vanity for open storage of towels and collectibles.

  • Smart Decision

Keeping the bathroom's large window in the same location helped the couple save money. The bathroom's new large soaking tub was centered under the window.

  • Curves Ahead

The curved shapes of the glass-topped shower and large tub add movement and visual interest to this updated bath. Crystal light fixtures add sparkle to the space.
