Keenen Ivory Wayans

Keenen Ivory Wayans is one of the industry's most multifaceted and talented performers. As the director of the surprise hit Scary Movie, Keenen's film became the highest-grossing film ever directed by an African-American, garnering $260 million worldwide. He and his brothers, Shawn and Marlon, reteamed for the successful sequel Scary Movie 2, and in 2001 he again collaborated with his two younger siblings as the director of the hit film White Chicks.

His previous accomplishments include co-writer, co-producer and appearing in Robert Townsend's Hollywood Shuffle, writer, director and star of I'm Gonna Get You Sucka. He continued his success as the writer-director and star of A Low Down Dirty Shame; producer of Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood and writer and star of the action-thriller Most Wanted.

Keenen is best known for his work in TV as creator, executive producer, writer and cast member for the first several seasons of the Emmy Award winning Fox series In Living Color, the cutting-edge black sketch comedy show, which also starred Keenen's brothers Damon, Shawn and Marlon. It also launched the careers of many upcoming comedians including Jim Carrey, Tommy Davidson, Jamie Foxx and David Alan Grier.

In the spring of 2005, Keenen, along with brothers Shawn and Marlon, launched their own game called The Dozens through their company SMK Merchandising. The trio is also working on their first humor books for St. Martin's Griffin in the spirit of 101 Ways To Know. The panel cartoon books, which will feature 101 full-page cartoons with classic '70s-style black-and-white panels, will be released later this year. In addition, Keenen and the Wayans are currently considering business ventures that take them into sports, children's entertainment and property development.
