Learn more about Paige Rien of Hidden Potential.
Paige Rien has been passionate about all things "home" since she was a little girl. What started out as weekly furniture rearranging in her bedroom and "talk shows" in the sandbox turned into a fruitful renovation business, design consultancy and do-it-yourself coaching practice.
She now brings her experience and keen eye to home-seekers on Hidden Potential. She has been a designer on HGTV's Curb Appeal, as well as the pilot, The Hook Up, which takes on the challenge of radically transforming the spaces of underprivileged folks on a tiny budget. She has also guest hosted on QVC and New Jersey Public Television. Her design company, Rien With an Eye, offers clients pursuing home improvement an eye for practical, personal elegance as well as the savvy to garner the maximum real estate value with whatever changes are made.
Paige began her study of architecture and urban planning at Brown University. Shortly after meeting and upon discovering their mutual love of building things, she and her husband, Francis, promptly began a full-time real estate obsession — scouring the east coast for neglected and unloved older properties. She has renovated and restored homes up and down the eastern seaboard.
She believes that each home must be deeply personal, reflecting the inhabitants' spirit and personality in form as well as details. She is known for her unpretentious, comfortably elegant designs and practical solutions to simply make homes better for living.
