Allyson and John Richardson have an active family and little time to organize. They have a beautiful home but have allowed a couple of rooms to lapse into a chaotic disaster area. Enter professional organizer Jeanine Baron. She is charged with devising a plan to help them solve their clutter woes, once and for all.

But the extreme opposite is true for these next three areas, dubbed the Clutter Zones by Baron.

The Laundry Room

The laundry room is especially bad, as the family has taken to using it as a dumping ground. Allyson admits that part of the problem with this room is that she just doesn't find it visually appealing.

The cabinets are dull, the white walls are boring, and she can't even remember the last time she saw the surface of the counter.

Behold the newly organized and charmingly decorated laundry room! The cabinets are organized into sections--a space for the Richardsons' camera equipment, a file for some of those magazines and an area for Allyson's greeting cards, which are stored in plastic holders with labels and grouped seasonally.

This drawer is just for the children to store their most-used supplies. The bins separate the markers, pencils and pens from things like erasers and push pins.

There's even a concealed rolling cart for the Richardsons' youngest child, Victoria, to store her craft supplies. Each drawer is labeled with a drawing of what goes inside to make it easy for her to locate things and put them back in their place.
