Artist Mimi Basseri shows how to create a sweater pillow cover for a neck pillow by cutting the arms out of a sweater. Here's how:

  1. Cut off both sleeves of a sweater. Turn them inside out, and lay one sleeve inside the other.

  2. Sew the two cut edges of one end with a large needle threaded with yarn to create a center seam (both ends will still be open.)

  3. Turn right side out, extending both sleeves their full length. Stuff with a neck pillow.

  4. Close each end with a drawstring made with ribbon and a needle, tying the ends into a bow.
