This neo-colonial home in Charlotte, North Carolina, had a bland appearance when Architect Wayne Camas was first called to the scene.

Camas began his makeover by stripping off the aluminum siding and replacing it with cedar shingles. He then added a front porch, which creates a generous arcade.

Next up was the addition of copper gutters, down spouts, basket-weave brickwork and a carriage-style garage door, all of which create a more traditional feel. This dramatic change is packed with curb appeal.
