Unify a Room with Blended Paint

Interior designer Chris Hyndman suggests bringing elements of a room together by blending paints from the wall and ceiling and using it to paint wood trim for an accent.

Blending paints is a good way to reduce the contrast between colored walls and a white ceiling. Blend about one cup of the colored paint used on the walls to a gallon of white ceiling paint (see photo).
