  • An easy way to test an electrical cord for electricity is to use a voltage detector (see below).

  • Eliminate a mess when wallpapering by purchasing self-adhesive wallpaper.

This is a terrific way to detect voltage in any electrical cord. Simply hold the sensor against the cord, and if the tips light red, there is voltage present.
