The designer room is a mix of modern and traditional styles--contemporary furnishings are mixed with antiques, and all are grounded by an elegant Persian rug. The pinnacle piece of the room is the almost floor-to-ceiling shimmering chandelier. The rich blue walls with a custom lime wash finish give the room drama and sophistication. The designer of this room, Charles de Lisle, said when he created this space he wanted a "moody, dark room for having late night dinner parties."

The Double Take team — makeover designer Michele Addey, budget shopper Halili Knox and carpenter Jamie Schmitt — takes on the challenge of duplicating this designer showroom for a whole lot less.

Please contact designer Charles de Lisle for Inspiration Room resources.
