Cosmo Dining Room

The designer room is an eclectic mix of mid-century modern furnishings with a modern feel, and natural elements with neutral tones. Jay Jeffers, the designer who created the room in the magazine, refers to the look as "Hollywood glam" because it is "sophisticated yet a little whimsical, feminine but not frilly." The designer room has the modern clean lines, interesting shapes and colors the homeowners want for their dining room.

The Double Take team — makeover designer Michele Addey, budget shopper Halili Knox and carpenter Jamie Schmitt — takes on the challenge of re-creating this high-end room pulled from the pages of a magazine.
