Take a journal with you to record information about all the great places you stay and eat. This will help with identifying photographs later, too!
Here are some great travel tips:

  • Bring a brightly colored jacket with you so you can be seen at all times.

  • Pack your belongings in brightly colored luggage so that it is easy to spot at the airport.

  • Tie a pot scrubber to your luggage to help identify it.

  • Park dark-colored clothes to wear while you're away to hide stains that may occur.

  • Consider wearing your eyeglasses on the plane, rather than contact lenses that might dry out.

  • Don't bring too much to do on the plane. You never get to it all and it just takes up extra space.

  • Carry a travel wallet instead of your regular wallet in case it gets lost or stolen.

  • When going on a road trip, pack extra toys for the children. You could even wrap them up and give them to them as gifts.

  • A bandana is a must to take! It can be used as a scarf, washcloth or tablecloth, or even as a seat cover for park benches or other publicly used surfaces.
