Organization expert Louise Kurzeka provides tips for packing wrinkle-free belongings.

  • Fill shoes with socks to conserve space in your suitcase.

  • Place shoes into plastic bags to keep them from soiling other items.

  • Use a variety of bags for packing various items in a suitcase. For example, use one for socks, one for clothing, one for towels and one for toiletries. The items not only will be easier to find, but they will also make for a roomier suitcase.

  • Whenever possible, purchase toiletries in travel and sample sizes, and take those along in place of a larger bottle.

  • Always enclose liquid bottles in plastic bags to avoid leakage.
