  • Turn extra frosting into truffles by refrigerating it overnight until it hardens. Use a melon scoop to gather up a round of chocolate. Roll the balled chocolate in coconut or nuts for a quick-and-easy treat.

  • For a healthy alternative to commercial frostings, trying making a ganache (a pourable frosting) using chocolate chips melted in soy milk.
