Figure A

  • Create a colorful table setting by placing fresh cut flowers onto a glass plate and then placing another plate on top of that plate so they are pressed between (figure A). If you are having a large party, call a party rental store to rent extra glass plates.

  • Create your own colorful invites with tissue paper and plain card stock paper. Cut out the tissue paper to fit the card stock, then mix equal parts glue and water. Brush mixture onto the paper and adhere tissue paper.

Figure B
  • A fun idea for a napkin holder is to place three colorful napkins on top of one another and twist the center. Place the napkin through a decorative napkin holder, then place into a candleholder (figure B).

  • Hang decorative bees from the ceiling with fishing line.

  • Decorative butterflies look cute scattered across the table. Using florist picks to attach the wire to the butterfly, then poke the other end through the tablecloth. Tape down the wire with painters' tape.

    Figure C
  • Use an acrylic paint pen to draw colorful bees on the outside of your glassware (figure C). The acrylic paint can easily be removed with paint remover.
