If you are having trouble pouring paint from a can without spilling it, try this tip: Lay a stir stick across the top of the can, with the stick pointing in the direction you’re pouring, then pour the paint. The paint will run down the stick without spilling. To pour without splashing, make sure the spout of the container is toward you while pouring, not toward the container. This will allow air flow and prevent splashing
