  • Always have an extension cord on your vacuum cleaner so that you can do the entire floor without unplugging.

  • Create a family to-do list so that everyone knows what their chores are.

  • Place all of your bills on a clipboard. Remove them from the envelopes, and place just the bill and return envelope on your clipboard.

  • Carry address labels as a handy way of filling out forms.

  • Make one trip to the Laundromat and do all your loads at once instead of making several different trips.

  • When the dryer buzzer sounds, be sure to get the clothes out immediately so that they don't wrinkle.
