Dishtowel Window Treatments

  1. Need two decorative dishtowels that match your kitchen's decor and one solid-color dishtowel that fits the color scheme.

  2. Cut the solid towel in half.

  3. Overlap the top of the decorative towel with the bottom of the solid towel. Fold the top of the solid towel under until desired length is achieved.

  4. Stitch a rod pocket into the under-turned solid towel.

  5. Connect the solid and decorative towel by sewing buttons along the seam. To carry the theme throughout the curtain, try to match the pattern on the buttons to the decorative towel.

  6. Make another curtain from the second half of the solid towel and the other decorative towel to complete the curtain set.
