• There are variety of fashion lines for fuller-figured women, including sporty, professional, evening and sleep wear.

• Determine your style and what you like, and you'll find it.

• There are a lot of items available if you look carefully and in places you might not ordinarily think about--like the men's department for classic shirts and pants and T-shirts to wear underneath blazers.

• Fabrics that drape well are wool and rayon crepes as well as microfibers, which are slightly stretchy, but don't look cheap.

• Polyester is much nicer these days than how it used to be and drapes well.

• Plus sizes vary greatly from size to size, which can pose a problem if you order from a catalog. Always take your measurements, then call the catalog company for its size measurements.
