Mary Ellen's Favorite Milkshake

Ingredients:

3/4 cup whole milk
1 pasteurized egg
3 Tbs. malted-milk powder
1 Tbs. chocolate syrup
8 medium-size scoops premium vanilla ice cream

Preparation:

To make the thickest and creamiest malt or milkshake, be sure to use a full-fat premium ice cream, along with whole milk. To thicken more, use malt powder. For extra protein, add the whole pasteurized egg per each malt. For additional flavor, add peanut butter, chocolate chips, chocolate syrup or cookies.

Low-Fat Chocolate Milkshake

Ingredients:

3/4 cup skim milk
1 pkg. fat-free pudding
1-1/2 cup low-fat frozen vanilla yogurt (or low-fat vanilla ice cream)

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Throw in a banana if desired for a little more flavor.
