Cocoa Cereal Bars

Ingredients:

1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 cup milk chocolate chips
4 cups cocoa-flavored puffed-rice cereal

Preparation:

Heat corn syrup over low heat until boiling. Stir in chocolate chips. Remove from heat and add cereal, stirring until coated. Press into a greased pan and allow to cool. Cut into bars and serve.

S'mores Cereal Bars

Ingredients:

4 cups graham-cracker cereal
4 cups miniature marshmallows
1-1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
1/4 cup light corn syrup
4 Tbs. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Preparation:

Over low heat, melt together three cups of marshmallows, chocolate chips, corn syrup and butter. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

Place cereal in a large bowl and pour molten mixture over cereal. Mix well until coated. Stir in remaining marshmallows and press mixture into a well-greased pan. Let cool, then cut into bars.

Caramel Corn Puff Balls

Ingredients:

1 cup melted caramel (about 28 caramel candies)
2 Tbs. water
5 cups puffed corn cereal
powdered sugar

Preparation:

Melt caramel candies and water in a double boiler. Place cereal in a large bowl and pour caramel mixture over cereal. Toss to coat well. Drop 1/2 cup of cereal mixture onto wax paper and form into a ball, then roll in powered sugar. Repeat until all the cereal mix is formed into balls.
