The secret ingredient for making pasta sauce stick to pasta is the liquid in which it is prepared. If the sauce is too thick, add a small amount of the water to the sauce until you reach the desired consistency. If the sauce is too thin, add a small amount of the liquid, switch to high heat and cook the sauce down. The starch in the liquid brings the sauce together nicely.
