Apricot Passion Sauce

Ingredients:

1 Tbs. olive oil
2 Tbs. minced garlic
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1 Tbs. minced gingerroot
1 cup apricot preserves
1 cup passion-fruit pulp
8 oz. hoisin sauce

Preparation:

Heat oil in heavy saucepan over medium-high heat and saute garlic, sesame seeds and gingerroot for two minutes. Stir in rest of ingredients, reduce heat to medium and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to keep warm and serve as a sauce or a glaze.

Yield: about 3 cups
