Chocolate chocolate-chip cookies don't have to include a lot of fatty ingredients to be tasty. Check out the easy recipe below for a healthy version of this classic treat.

Low-Fat Cheesecake

Ingredients:

two 8-oz. blocks 1/3 less-fat cream cheese
three 8-oz. blocks nonfat cream cheese
5 eggs
1-1/4 cup sugar
juice of 1 lemon
zest of 1 lemon
3 Tbs. all-purpose flour
1 Tbs. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation:

Process all the above in a food processor and pour into prepared crust (see below). Bake for seven minutes at 500 degrees, then turn down oven to 250 degrees and bake for an additional 45 to 50 minutes. Cool in pan for 30 minutes, chill overnight and then release from springform pan.

Crust

Ingredients:

1-1/4 cup flour
2 Tbs. cold butter
1-1/2 Tbs. cold water

Preparation:

Mix in the food processor, then form into the bottom of the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes in a springform pan. Put your finger in the blade hole at the bottom of the processor bowl to hold the blade in as you pour the cheesecake into the crust.

You could also buy a pre-prepared graham-cracker crust instead of making your own.

Healthy Chocolate Chocolate-Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

1-3/4 cup flour
2/3 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
2-1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup chocolate chips
3 Tbs. melted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 Tbs. vanilla
2-1/2 Tbs. light syrup (light in color)
3 egg whites, beaten
1/4 cup chopped chocolate chips

Preparation:

Sift dry ingredients together, then add butter. Mix together wet ingredients, the add into the dry mixture and stir. Add chopped chocolate. Bake at 350 for eight minutes.
