Checkerboard Cheeseburgers

PHOTO
To add panache to a plain old cheeseburger, use two kinds of cheese--use desired flavors but select one white and one yellow in color. From each color of cheese, cut a slice, then cut the slices into one-inch squares. Once the burgers have been cooked and are ready for cheese to be melted on top, position two of each color square on the burger, forming a checkerboard pattern with the colors, then melt the cheese slightly so it's soften and warm, but holding the checkerboard shape. Your family and friends will be so impressed!

Stuffed Burgers
Here's a fun idea for grilling out. Sandwich desired cheese, veggies, mushrooms, jalepeno pepper slices, etc., between two burger patties. Seal the edges of the patties together and grill, encasing the "good stuff" inside. Serve on a bun like a regular burger.
