Egg-in-the-Grass Cake

Cut a strip from the center of a round cake layer (figure B), and push the two sides together to form an oval. Ice with white frosting and sprinkle with colorful candies. For the grass, add green food coloring to white frosting, then ice the center strip of cake. Position below cake and score to look like grass blades.
