Garlic Ice Cream

Ingredients:

roasted garlic bulb
1 pint of vanilla ice cream

Preparation:

Roast a bulb of garlic by cutting off the top of the bulb, drizzling with olive oil and wrapping in aluminum foil. Place in a 375-degree oven for one hour. Let cool. Squeeze the softened cloves into a softened pint of ice cream. Refreeze.

Chocolate Butter

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter, softened and cubed
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted and cooled

Preparation:

Stir butter and chocolate together by hand. Transfer to a covered container. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Goes great on biscuits, waffles, muffins or even toast.

Ingredients:

1 pkg. brownie mix
1 cup cooked, pureed black beans

Preparation:

Prepare the brownie mix as directed on the box, adding the black beans with the egg from the mix recipe. Leave out the other liquids and bake according to directions on box.

Tomato Soup Cake
Tomato Soup Spice Cake

Ingredients:

one 18-oz. pkg. spice cake mix
one 10-3/4 oz. can condensed tomato soup
1/2 cup water
2 eggs

Preparation:

In a large bowl, combine mix, soup, water and eggs. Leave out the oil. Pour into a prepared pan (one 13 x 9-inch or two 8 inch round). Bake for 25 minutes in a 350-degree oven, or until a tester comes out clean.

Cool for 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool completely. Frost with cream-cheese icing if you prefer.
