Living Room Before
Professional thieves did not ransack this room. It is just the way these homeowners live. The boxes are stacked so high near the foyer that it is hard to see into the house. The best feature in the living room is the fireplace, but you can't see it because it is blocked by a bookshelf, boxes and exercise equipment. Fireplaces add extra value to a home, so when selling, they should be emphasized and not hidden.

The adjacent dining room (not shown), is muddled with boxes, suitcases and extra televisions. There is no dining table, chairs or even a chandelier. The real estate expert thought it was a shame that these homeowners are likely to lose a lot of money on the sale of their home because they are not staging it properly.
