The Hunt

Hiroko Momii is an artist who is ready for a change. She's been busy developing her career for the past 10 years, during which time she lived in a one-room cottage to save money. Now that her career's on track, Momii is ready to upgrade to a larger living space. In addition to needing more room for her primary residence, she also needs space for a studio where she can paint. A place that has a nice view would be an added bonus.

Lending Momii a hand is realtor Michelle Miley. Though Miley is confident she can help Momii in her search, she admits that finding a home that includes a studio is a first for her.

The first home the two look at is nice, but it doesn't have adequate room for Momii. When she goes to tour her second home, she brings along her friend David Webb. Webb is also an architect and can advise Momii on whether they can build a studio onto the home. The three determine the second home isn't quite right and agree to continue looking on another day.

Momii, Miley and Webb reconvene to look at yet another home. They are excited because the home itself is lovely and has a gorgeous view. A look inside reveals plenty of living space, and after touring the backyard, Momii is sold.

The tour continues outside by the garage. Webb explains to Momii and Miley that there is adequate room on the property on which to build a studio. The three leave happy, and Momii heads over to Miley's office, where they an offer is written up.

Momii is overjoyed when she receives word that the offer is accepted and that the home is hers. A few weeks later, she's living in her new home. She's happy to be living in a space that is not only beautiful, but also inspires her artistically.
