The Hunt

House Hunters : Episode HNT-106 -- More Projects »
Nancy Powers is going through an amiable divorce and as a result is looking for a new home. Although she only has a short time to look (her own house is already on the market), she is excited about making a new start in a home that will be hers alone. Her primary goals are finding a house with built-in office space and a large grassy back yard for her dog Autumn (who is expecting puppies soon).

Powers and her two realtors Leigh Willoughby and Shelly Clark head out to look at homes. The first one shows promise, but it has rather small bedrooms and no home-office space. The second one is also nice, but has a pool instead of the grassy dog-friendly backyard that she wanted.

She tours the third house of the day. This one has a large kitchen, a charming living room and a lovely back yard. It also has a built-in home office just off the garage. Feeling like this might be the one, but hesitating to make this big decision on the spot, Nancy decides to sleep on it. When she meets her realtors, at their office the next day, she has decided to make an offer on the last house they looked toured. Now all she can do is wait for the seller's response.

Her offer has been accepted. After six weeks of settling in and redecorating, she is thoroughly enjoying her new home. Her dog and the five new puppies love their backyard, and she is proud to show off her new home to her friends.
