Catnip Kitty Fortune Cookie

Get more Pet Projects

Make your feline a fortune he or she will go bonkers for! Using felt and simple sewing techniques, this quick project is a great solution to overpriced catnip toys.

Materials:

felt, tan and white
fiberfill or batting
dried organic catnip
sewing machine
needle
thread
quilter's pencil
pins

Steps:

1. Cut a 3 3/4" diameter circle out of the tan felt. Tip: Trace around a wine goblet with a white quilter’s pencil to get your circle. This will be the "cookie."

2. Cut a strip of white felt measuring 2 1/2" long and 3/8" wide. This will be your cookie's "fortune."
