No small pet projects for Janet and her husband, they filled their backyard with custom made agility equipment. The Czaplinski's have five Border Collies. Their dogs love being active, so Janet and her husband made their own agility equipment for them. They were able to easily find the official AKC standard measurements for each of the course items from the AKC agility rule book. Most of the obstacles are made of materials that you can find at any hardware store. The jumps are made from PVC pipe and fittings. The see-saw is a wooden board which was cut to AKC standard and the table is a wooden board with PVC legs at the proper height. Both are coated with paint mixed with sand to prevent slipping. The red tunnel has brackets made from PVC pipe to keep it secure when the dogs are running through.
