Figure A--Matt is modeling a basic summer outfit--a pair of khakis and a white dress shirt. These two items are paired with brown shoes and a brown belt for a casual look that's unlikely to go out of style anytime soon.

Figure B--Maggie looks great in a basic black skirt and simple pink T-shirt with raised sandals. A savvy shopper will stay away from linen and leather, which are exclusive to summer and winter, respectively.

Figure C--Steve is prepared for fall with the same khaki pants and white shirt, but he's added a V-neck sweater in an autumn rust color. The brown shoes have changed to black for a sturdier seasonal look.

Figure D--Kate wears the same black skirt, but has added an animal print and sling- back shoes in anticipation of the cooler weather.

Figure E--Andrew sports the winter look with the same khaki pants, but adds a wool sweater and vintage coat. The black shoes and belt look sharp here as well. When spring arrives, he can make a smooth transition by adding a thin sweater in a color such as beige and switch back to the brown shoes and brown belt.

Figure F--Jessica opts for a miniskirt with tights, knee-high boots and a sweater over the T-shirt. She completes the outfit with a leather coat. The black skirt can stay for spring, and she can pair it with a spring T-shirt and vintage pastel-colored sweater.
