Multipurpose Activity Room

Mission: Organization : Episode MSO-513 -- More Projects »
Craft enthusiast Kim Banta loves working with crafts, but many of her projects are unfinished and lost in the wasteland of her large craft room.

She uses the room for sewing, painting and computer projects. The materials for all these activities are mingled and scattered throughout the room. The messy result is a room that inhibits rather than encourages creativity. See for yourself below.

Professional organizer Monica Ricci has a plan for her room that will add natural light, new color and flooring, plus break the room into activity zones that will help define storage areas.

The most important task for Banta is to purge unfinished projects (Ricci says Banta is addicted to potential), old patterns and materials that will not be used in the near future.
