Organizing expert Christine Palen suggests keeping a change of wrinkle-free clothes in the trunk of your car, in case of an emergency. Just place in a garment bag or empty sheet bag that seals in your trunk in the area where the spare tire is (see photo). If you don't have space there, try slipping the bag underneath one of the seats. Toss in a scented sachet to avoid any musty smell that might accumulate over time. Carrying a spare blanket is also a good idea.
