The Kitchen

The kitchen is bad, too. The large island is covered with unread mail--they estimate that they get 10 to 20 pieces a day--and magazines, leaving no room for actually preparing food.

In addition to all that mail, professional trade magazines and catalogs take up their share of counter space.

The "after" kitchen has a whole new clean, functional feel and proves that even the most cluttered areas can be restored to their original splendor.

And the kitchen island can once again be used for its real purpose--preparing food.

The Hutch

Allyson's china hutch has been morphed into a makeshift office for John.

Instead of being utilized for storing kitchen linens, it's just another catchall place that's over-flowing.

The drawers are packed so full, Allyson says she fears losing a finger each time she tries to close them!

The china hutch is once again being used as a place to store kitchen, dining room and entertaining supplies.
