Tip of the Day

Billowy comforters, pillows and blankets take up plenty of storage space in the home. To save space, toss those puffy items into a heavy-duty (two millimeters or thicker) plastic bag. Then use your shop vacuum to remove as much air as possible before tying off the bag. To keep the items fresh while in storage, toss in a fabric softener sheet into the bag before sealing it.
