From the shoebox today came several shoeboxes! Shoeboxes are great for keeping craft supplies and in the past, I've recommended that the flip-up lidded Nike shoeboxes are especially wonderful. They are very sturdy as well as handy. These are great containers--not only are the very large ones handy, so are the very small ones. They are perfect for holding those collections of craft pens.

New into the collection however are the Red Wing Shoes shoeboxes. They too are extremely sturdy and have a flip-up top. In addition, the top has a pull-up handle that makes them very practical for toting things.

Shoe stores often have many shoeboxes that customers do not take with them and they are usually very happy to give them away. You do not have to buy the shoes, just ask for the boxes.

Next a tip from Linda Watson's cleaner. Use your folding bone for cleaning. If you have a stain that you really need to get the cleaning solution into, rub it back and forth with the folding bone. It gets to stains that are deeply embedded without doing damage.
