Follow Matt Fox's tips for cleaning windows:
- Never wash windows on a bright sunny day. On a cloudy day the windows will dry slowly leaving fewer streaks.
- Use newspaper not paper towels. It creates fewer streaks and actually cleans better.
- Clean the outside of the window with vertical strokes and the inside with horizontal strokes. This will make it easy to see which side needs to be redone if there's a streak.
