Homeowner Brandi Giese's bedroom is a disaster area. She loves to shop for clothes and shoes, and she has the closet to prove it. It is so crammed with stuff that her cats have crawled inside and gotten lost in the clutter — on more than one occasion! The room is also muddled with her vast collection of CDs, DVDs and videotapes. Then there's the computer desk that's covered in paper.

The closet floor is covered in shoes, so much so that one can barely reach the clothes on the rack. The upper shelves are piled high with sweatshirts. It is hard to reach for just one without causing an avalanche. The homeowner needs to learn the one-in-one-out rule. When you buy one new item of clothes, you must get rid of one old item.
