Heather and Burt Mulford have an organization problem: The bedroom of their suburban home became a chaotic mess when they had two children in two years. It is a dumping ground for outgrown baby clothes and also serves as an office in which Heather grades school papers.

Piles of photos, CDs and magazines are out of control in the main area, while outdated sweaters, shoes and purses stuff the closet.

The Mulfords need help, and professional organizer Liz Witts has it. Her plan is to get rid of the oversize furniture that doesn't function as well as it should.

She also recommends that the Mulfords sort through the clothes and create a large giveaway pile or consign items such as maternity clothes to long-term storage. Her goal is to create a serene adult environment that is also kid-friendly. Let's see if she was successful:
