Recycle interesting bottles to use as spice jars. Clean and dry them thoroughly , and then use a hammer and various nails to poke appropriate holes in the caps ( figure A).

Fill a flat dish with small pinecones, dried fruit, bay leaves and cinnamon sticks, and then sprinkle essential oils on top for scented potpourri.
